Energy Retrofits
Cromwell Environmental is a national leader in energy audits, energy retrofits, and other energy efficiency testing and contracting. We can identify any efficiency-stealing issues with your home or building and perform an energy retrofit guaranteed to increase energy efficiency and sustainability.
Having an energy audit done on your home or property can identify common issues that reduce energy efficiency and lead to higher utility bills. After an energy audit identifies issues, an energy retrofit is the next step to resolve them. Most buildings contain surprising opportunities for savings if done in the right order.
How an energy retrofit works
After an energy audit prioritizes efficiency improvements, the experts in Cromwell Environmental’s construction services team carry out these improvements to increase your comfort and realize your potential energy savings. Whether you are a homeowner or a commercial building manager, a professionally done energy retrofit can pay for itself through energy savings in a few short years all while improving the comfort of occupants living or working there.
With the hot summers and cold winters in Kansas and Missouri we spend a lot of our energy heating and cooling our homes and buildings. Even a light energy efficiency retrofit of a commercial or residential property can yield amazing results. Older buildings can really benefit from building envelope and insulation upgrades that also make a building much more comfortable to live in. Additional low-hanging fruit includes lighting upgrades, smart energy systems, and weatherproofing.
